Administrative papyrus

Suppl. 17507/005 is a fragmentary papyrus dating to the 4th dynasty (2613-2494 BCE) written in black and red ink. On the recto is an administrative list with names of personnel (written in vertical columns in the middle of the papyrus) from places called Iaru and Inertyinpu (modern day Gebelein) under the supervision of the overseer of an institution, who is named Persen (written horizontally at the top of the papyrus). On the verso is another administrative list containing names of personnel under the supervision of several different overseers from Iaru and Inertyinpu.
