Letter
Cat. 1973 is a letter is written the scribe of the royal necropolis Djehutymes and addressed to his son Butehamun and the chantress of Amun Shedemduat. He informs them that he has left his superior (the general) in Elephantine while heading south towards Nubia and urges them to pray for his safe return. He enquires about the health of his recipients and sends regards to the woman named Hemetsherit and her daughter as well as the scribes Amunhotep, Takamen and Shedsumut. He reminds them to take libation offerings to Amun and not to neglect the orders that were given to them.
