Necropolis Journal

Cat.2074 + Cat.2096/261 + Cat.2096/264 + Cat.2096/266 + Cat.2096/272 + Milano E 0.9.40127 is dated to the year 8 of Ramesses IX. It records work and inactivity of the gang, and deliveries of fish and wood between month I and II Akhet.

The second part of the papyrus is devoted to the registration of some special events:

1. a letter is sent to the vizier and the scribe of the mat asking for grain rations and copper. They wrote back about Meshwesh coming to Thebes. 

2. collecting and redistributing copper tools.

3. the scribe Hori and Amenwa are involved in a court case. 

The verso, still unpublished, presents a list of officials, a daily requirement of fish and firewood, a list of the workforce of the necropolis, and of female servants.
